FDA Launches Consumer E-mail Alert Service Covering Product Recalls and Other News

Earlier this month, the FDA announced the launch of an email alert service that alerts subscribers whenever information is updated on certain FDA Web pages.

The list of available topics includes medical and other product safety alerts and recalls.

We encourage readers to sign up (note: the process is a little cumbersome - you must first sign up for one topic, but then once signed up, you can update your email address using a checklist to add additional topics for notification).
